Okay, as a car enthusiast myself. Personally it depends on the driver as well as what performance modifications are done the the vehicle itself. So giving the basic information of a car doesn't help any. Civic's have a small amount of power but they are so light, it matches up easily. Which is why civics and hondas in general are so popular. But he could also have a motor swap or something of that nature which is very easy to do in hondas because most motors fit in all the style vehicles.
If this is just a kid that knows nothing about cars and you have trust in your driving skill and potential. then go for it. But take it to a track.
well im not braging but i've been driving since i was 6 and my dad taught me everything ( he was a ambulance driver ) and im a very experienced driver for my age, the other dude been driving only for a year
